Really enjoy the music and illustration of this game. I like that you taking a doodle style which reminds me of childhood. But as a bad game player, it is too hard for me to play with it. I think it needs some menu to teach us how to play and also learn to discern enemy and traps in this game
Hi guys! the chalkboard kid-like drawing look is very playful and the bgm accompanies it very well. The game is too hard even from the start, so I can't get passed going up one step.. Try to make the difficulty progress as the player moves through the environment.
The drawing style is very novel and cute! Doubling clicking to jump is also something new to me. But I still believe the settings are just too hard for a normal player to play. Hope you can manage to make some warnings before things fall down.
such a unique style! this game is too cute and fun to play too. It is a nice mix of different texttures on screen and everything moves very fast which is a challenge on the first level for sure
This game, reminds me of the time when I playing "I wanna", lol. The best solution of this game is to smash your keyboard xD, jk. Actually, I love the visual part in this game, and the rules in the last stage. Usually, players will think to dodge the knives or stand for 10sec if the character without weapons to attack the boss, but in this game, we have to touch the boss to reach the final. I think it is a good solution for this game.
Ahhh I think this game is just enough irritation to motivation to try again ! It makes me suspicious of every step in the game that sometimes I'll be surprised that I was able to walk without something coming at me. Maybe this was part of the strategy but I wish the player was just a tiny bit slower so I don't fall into traps haha
You graphics are so cute and playful. The music and sound effect is also very cute, it goes very well with the graphic . Everything is very cohesive! I will say this is slightly easier that the version during playtest, but I still can't pass! I know that's probably my own problem haha. One thing I notice is that there is a slight delay when the character dies, the sound effect will occur first. Sometimes I'm still walking but I know I'm already dead because of the sound effect. It all happens too fast haha. Maybe you can look into that and see if there is a way to sync that.
aHHHHhahhhah I still keep dyinggggg lol. But i think it is something like Cuphead I just keep dying and keep trying hahah. I like sound, and the player animation and graphic is very detailed!
The illustrations are cute and the music and sound effects makes the game even better. I agree with others that the obstacles are too fast on the first level. Lastly, consider having a limited number of lives so that we get some sort of game over mechanism.
The illustrations are so cute and the sounds and music fit your game very well! Haha, you know how to make the player frustrated, a lot of hidden traps and die one-shot is pretty hard. But I won in the end! Tho had to take several times to pass each level. I like how the music becomes faster in the end, almost creating tension with each level. And the way characters die is so funny, I mean you still can walk a bit further and then die.
Some suggestions: maybe the speed is too fast? Or the traps might be too close to the player right now. I understand you want to make it hard, but that might work well in further levels and not in the very beginning. Also, as I mentioned we still can see and play the character after death, so in the beginning, it made a confusion, because you can’t understand what exactly hit you. There are some problems with colliders on platforms, sometimes you get stuck on them, and even if you jump you can’t move. But overall I like your idea and game very much! It would be interesting to see a princess as a villain as well.
I like the graphics and the sound of this game. I guess one of you made the character’s voice. The background music is intriguing too. It seems to play faster as I play. I like the moment it fits with my steps. I pass the first level after times of loss. This game is a little hard for me, but I’m not really a gamer, so passing the game may not be a problem for others. I hope there are some instructions before the gameplay, so I don’t have to scroll down and read the introduction.
Overall, this is too cute! I agree with @Minghui that you include many well-designed obstacles, but I think you can add on these obstacles a bit slower throughout the game. I struggled for a while just on the first level lol, because I have to start over every time I died. Otherwise, I like the background music and animations. It is very cut:))
Very nice illustrations out there! You guys did a great job on the obstacle settings, I also really like the background text as a hint in order to reach the next level. The thing is that I get frustrated when I almost reach the next scene, and one single hit will bring me back to the origin; I'm not saying it's not good, maybe that's the outcome you want to create for players hhhhh. Overall really nice job!!!
